This game was created in 36 hours as part of GGJ 2022 at the Perth (Australia) jam site.

If you could pass through the looking glass into someone else's world, would you? Even if that meant bringing someone else into your own reality, against their will? Explore mirror images of the same place, one war-torn and on the brink of destruction, and the other seemingly normal. Find out what, or who, is "In The Other Room".

I got to play several games in my last stream, including your game:

It was such a pretty great game, thank you so much for all your work!

Can't wait for your next experiments! Take care.

That hurt to play, but it was amazing

If you start thinking about what is happening, it becomes hard on the soul

Loved the mistery mirror. Great game! Played here :)

I love "what if" games. And this was a fun short, tame horror game to play. Good job Dev!

love your game :)

Very cool game...a little bit short, because it is a cool story!

Was fun to play, thank you!!!

A Really cool concept, i love the Multiverse stuff... This was really good....

Great game, I liked the universe shifting and the reality of what's happening with the mirror. The twist was great horror and I loved the newspapers, clever and added some dark humor to the topic :)

its a really nice game ~ it got me acting up!

but problem is my pc potato can't handle it in a smooth way so hope this is enough.! thank you very much!

/edit

The game was really fun, I mainly focused on all the writing while playing, and loved the comedy from what could be in the other world. I think I became more focussed on what was in the newspaper articles than what was actually happening in the story. I originally thought I was passing through the mirror in time. I did not realise I was stealing the reality of someone else till I watched back the video.

Loved the game, and it was a great way to show such a unique horror idea.

Thanks for creating this.  I'm very impressed with the speed it was created  and the quality of the game.  I'm not the sharpest tool in the shed and it's likely I have missed some of the more important plot points.

In saying that though it was a pleasure to play and kept me guessing on what to do and what was happening.

Nice to see a contribution for Australia as well :)  Keep up the good work.

Good game. Good Concept.

That was an amazing back and forth, finding all the little lore nuggets... and then ofc.. the Multiverse! Well, well done!

Really adored the outcome here. Great job telling so much with so little. KEEP IT UP

Mirror worlds!! Been a fan ever since the Medium. Thank you for this short treat. What an awesome game. Greetings from Australia!

I love the idea of other dimensions. This was so good but so short :) I would love a full game of this. Great job!  Your game is last  and starts at 17:25

No es precisamente un juego de terror, más bien es de misterio. Me gusta como lentamente vamos averiguando qué esta sucediendo aunque al final no supe nada. Quizás haría falta agregar un poco de trasfondo e historia.

Love the bits of lore in both worlds! Great game!

enjoyed this so much, love anything that explores parralell worlds, and i love the fact that you have to investage the room to find out the scary great game dude, anything interested in watching my gameplay here it is

i played nice game,

It was a pretty interesting game and a really interesting concept! I originally thought it was going back in time, but going through dimensions through the mirror adds a level of depth to the game! Going through the history of how the two characters are reacting to each other travelling is was interesting to see and it made the game that much more interesting! Really great concept and would love to see this evolve into more if you ever work on it again! Great job and good luck for future projects!

Great game, sadly it is too short!!

Interesting concept!  Would like to know more about the story of what the mirror world is and why its boarded up.

Game 2: interesting! I liked it!

Games that manipulate the mirror are very interesting to me and this one really hits the spot for dimensional travelling, i very enjoyed going through between two realities as i take whoever is on the other side to my side. They also draw things on our side which is a good attention to detail. Thank you for making this! 2nd Game.

Wow!! Great concept and execution. I really felt sucked into this one - no pun intended.

An interesting game, with a hidden story that is up to the player to interpret. I liked it. Congratulations on your game guys.

Can't believe this was made in only 36 hours! Such a great game, I liked it a lot :) Would love to also play a longer version (or a sequel :3)

This was a really well told story through not so many words. The end was not expected and the implications are quite tragic. But I also loved it, very Twilight Zone styled.

i somehow missed the Horror maybe.... :(

The concept can be tricky to execute well, but the dev does it perfectly and apparently in only 36 hours. Considering that and how short this experience is, I can't even imagine what this dev can come out with in the future. Well done!

good game

Really great game for only being created in only 36 hours. This is one of those games that I hope someone takes the concept of and expands into a bigger game.

So I joined in the fun and recorded my playthrough. Very impressive for 36 hours.

Gameplay starts at 9:32

I loved the story elements! And also a freightening apocalyptic premise that is not often seen!
